In the present study has been characterized the profile of 54 individuals suffering from Developmental Topographical Disorientation (DTD) a lifelong disorder who affects the ability to learn, mental represent and move around the environment. Individuals with DTD
enrolled in this study, aged between 18 and 35 years, and have been assessed in a previous study through a 4-year-long online survey. Furthermore, their performance was compared with 54 matched healthy participants.
This novel study attempts to characterize the phenotype of DTD, providing an importantcontribution to the worldwide definition of a condition that was first described only 13 years ago, but which, considering the growing number.
